Four of the eight RAI (Responsible Artificial Intelligence) solutions developed under the IndiaAI Mission are highly secure and trusted AI Pillars are anticipated to go live on the Alkosha Portal between September and December of this year.

Machine learning, Risk Assessment, Bias mitigation, and fairness assessment are the areas where RAI solutions are going to be made available. IndiaAI Mission COO (Chief Operating Officer), Kavita Bhatia, mentioned in an interview on Tuesday on the sidelines of a consultation on AI readiness assessment methodologies in Delhi.

From 8 Responsible Artificial Intelligence (RAI) solutions built under IndiaAI mission’s ‘Safe and Trusted AI Pillar’, 4 solutions are anticipated to go live on the Mission’s Alkosha Portal by the end of this year, most probably between September and December.

According to the report, IndiaAI Mission COO (Chief Operating Officer), Kavita Bhatia, shared that these 4 solutions are going to be made available in Bias Mitigation, Risk & Fairness assessment, and Machine learning. She also added that DeepSeek detection tools are still under development.

An official stated that the government has the goal of making the 30 projects selected under the application development initiative as “Try Models” within a month. They are under healthcare, climate change management, governance, learning disabilities, and agriculture themes.

Concerning DeepSeekdetection tools, Kavita stated that the government has more than 400 applications under evaluation and is likely to be open-source. The previous year, the Centre chose 8 strategic projects to encourage the responsible development, implementation, and adoption of AI in the nation.

At that time, the government received over 2000 proposals as a response to the EoI (Expression of Interest). Those projects were initiated to address the challenges of algorithm bias, privacy enhancement, and framework establishment for trustworthy and interpretable AI.
