Four of the eight RAI (Responsible Artificial Intelligence) solutions were developed under the IndiaAI Mission. It will go live on the Alkosha Portal between September and December of this year. IndiaAI Mission COO (Chief Operating Officer), Kavita Bhatia, mentioned them in Tuesday’s Interview. She said that these 4 solutions will be made available in:
Bias Mitigation, Risk & Fairness assessment, and Machine learning. During a consultation on AI readiness assessment methodologies in Delhi.
The government aims to make the 30 projects selected under the application development initiative into “Try Models” within a month. They focus on healthcare, climate change management, governance, learning disabilities, and agriculture themes.
Kavita stated that the government is evaluating more than 400 applications for DeepSeek detection tools and is likely to open-source them. Last year, the Centre chose 8 strategic projects to encourage the responsible development, implementation, and adoption of AI in the nation.
At that time, the government received over 2000 proposals in response to the EoI (Expression of Interest). Those projects aimed to address the challenges of algorithm bias, privacy enhancement, and establishing a framework for trustworthy and interpretable AI.
